I use to work at an exotic car dealership and my brother always brings me the stuff they use. I've always loved it. It's called Boehm's. I believe they're outta Sun Valley, CA. Best products iv'e ever used.(if used correctly)

I wanted to do 20mm since the wheels tuck a bit due to neg. camber. Do you think they'll rub though?

Are your calipers painted red or aftermarkets?
Thanks bro.

Nah, they're just painted. I don't think I'll invest in a BBK. Too dang expensive for everyday driving. I am getting Stillen's stainless steel brake lines though.

20mm spacers will absolutely not rub even with camber corrected. In fact, you can easily go with 25mm spacers without any rubbing issues at all.

You mentioned your calipers are just painted. Did you do it yourself? If not, how much it cost?

And if you did it yourself, did you just straight spray paint those suckers? I'm thinking of doing that but afraid the paint will chip easily from the heat and everything. Have you noticed any chipping?

I use Duplicolor High-Temp (the 1200 degree one). Sprayed for a couple of minutes onto a container and used a brush to apply it onto the caliper. I've done this on all my cars and they've never chipped or faded. Total cost, about $10.

your call, but i still think 20 is a bit much on stock 18's. if you had lo pro tires (19's or 20's), sure, but it just doesn't have the right look IMO at 20mm on stockers. I'm not saying it will rub, I'm sure 20-25 will clear, but the look isn't right.

i doubt 5mm more will make the world of difference but do a search for pics with spacers and make your own opinion. I'm stuck on 15.

Looks great, Phil... Just need those spacers and you will be all set. Now you're making me wish I had gotten the Eibach's instead of the Tanabe's. I would lean towards the 20 mm spacers myself with the stock sport wheels. That's what I've got on my car and it is just about perfect. I think 25 mm would definitely be too much. If I had to do it again, though, I might run 15 mm spacers in the rear and 20 mm up front, but like you said, with your extra negative camber in the rear, the 20 mm ones will probably be perfect.

Also, let me know if you'd like some help installing your front lip. I just installed mine a few weeks ago, so I'd be happy to help out.

It's simple, really.

- Clean the calipers, i spray it with this. Then dry it with a shop towel after a couple of minutes.
- Shake the paint can for a couple of minutes.
- Spray onto an empty container until you have a pool of paint on it
- Use a paintbrush (i use something similar to this)
- Dab the paint onto the caliper until you've covered everything.

Then just wait for it to dry. I let it sit for a couple of hours then drive out and apply the brakes a few times (the heat helps cure the paint).

I'll post some photos tonight.

Hey that does sound fairly simple and straight forward. I always thought that in order to do this properly (or to make it look right), that I need to remove the break calipers and paint it that way or powdercoat it.

Cant wait or pics! thanks!
