Not your normal wood interior....

I just purchases a 2009 G37, black on black...and decided to go with the wood interior, well the dealership had a couple of new choices.
Not sure if anyone's seen this yet, so decided to post few pics, it came out really nice...it's darker then what it looks in like in the pics, and 10 times better...almost a mix of black / silvery gray.
I'll take couple pics tomorrow in the sunlight if anyone is interested.

Thumbs down

It doesn't match with the black interior at all.... It's ugly

It's different from the Washi, that's for sure. IMO, it's a more upscale look rather than the sporty look the Washi gives.

It's not for me, but I'm glad you like it.

That doesn't look too bad.
I personally prefer the wood in the 07/08s more though.

It really looks a lot better in person, it's hard to tell in these pics because the flash on the camera makes the wood look really light when it's not at all.
I'll take some pictures today in the sun.

They had the carbon fiber option, I just don't like the look of it.
It screams young to me~ I wanted a more mature luxury look on the inside.
This feels really good when I sit in it and look around.

Interesting but not my cup of tea. Infiniti's USA website shows Rosewood as the only wood option. Wonder where they got this new color from?

The dealers have other wood "options". Some of which look better than others, but I didn't like any of them when they were shown to me.
Back when I bought my G, I had the chance to see the Rosewood in person and I knew I wanted it. It's a personal preference thing... I liked it over the Washi.
They didn't have ANY G35's in stock with the Tech pack and wood trim, so mine was special ordered. I waited a friggen eternity for my car to get built and shipping over to me.
The wait sucked, but I still love my Rosewood trim.
