Look in the detail section of this site, lots of good info. DetailedImage.com is a great site, v. helpful guys and a sponsor. I am a detail noob, but learned lots here, on Driver, as well as Autopia.org.

If you have a few hours to kill you should be able to do this yourself. I'd recommend a sealant instead of wax (similar to wax but lasts longer). Also to insure you get down to the paint level and remove all the "history" I'd wash the car with dishsoap, and clay the car.

The cost of all of these supplies would be much cheaper than having someplace do it, but it is less convenient. You will have enough clay and sealant to do this at least 3 times for less than $50.

 

Congrats on the new ride man, you have started with the same mods as me. tint and same spoiler. I would also like to second detailedimage.com (I spend a ton of money with these guys) they carry all the good stuff and they are very helpful.
