So you picked up a roll of faux CF leather? How much did you pay and how big is a roll? I was thinking about doing this as well... but not sure yet.

That is going to be one fun project. I did this on all of my door handle trim because the paint was fading and there were alot of scratches. I still need to fix a few of my handles. I also did the shift plate... which was a pain in the a$$ to do, but i manage and it was all worth it in the end.

Yo! Alan whats up? Long time no see. If you are looking for the cloth CF, i bought it from this place called Euro Dyne. Here is the link from a BMW forum: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1087927

^^That's where I bought mine, too. They have black, charcoal, silver, and titanium.

Spray the plastic or whatever you're putting it on, not the cloth.

You guys paid a lot for the material, not sure if mine is the same, but I can get it for $25.00 a yard. LOL! I'm such a cheap bastard.

...sounds good.
Looking forward to the finished pics.

Are you tackling the center stack?
When I was considering this mod, that's the part that scared me.
