lol I promise dude by tomorrow I'll post pics.

The only thing is on weekdays I get of work by 7pm which is already night time and can't take good pics at all, so tomorrow I only have a half day in which I'll get the car cleaned and then take it to my usual spot to take pics promise

I can definitely tell a difference from looking at the SSR wheels on my Porsche where I have the Rays lugnuts and the ones where I'm using these R40 lugnuts. I'm definitely gonna use these lugnuts on all future wheel applications.
That's what I was hoping for!!!
Thanks

How do the caps stick to the lugs? Do they seat into those 5 holes in the middle?
I asked, apparently the caps are not backwards compatible.

here is a better pic of the assembly.

lol not backward compatible? what does that mean?

Is it just a fancy word to say it won't fit?

I dunno I think I could get it to stick on if I used some glue lol

lol... yeah, the plastic caps can be purchased separately.
But they don't fit the original open end R40

I still don't believe them, I think I'll have to take the plung and buy them and then find a way to stick 'em on tight lol, I'm just worried that they might fly out one day , I'll see how it goes.

BTW what are those 5 small holes in the middle used for? because mine is just empty from inside

I think they're just cosmetic detail. IMO just something to fill up with dirt.
I'm sure you can get something to plug the ends. (jb weld, epoxy)

I'm looking to buy an R40 type of L.nut, but would really prefer to have closed end.
I'm just not completely sold on these plastic caps.
I wonder how they would take the heat of track days?

humm good point,

even though I won't be tracking mine they'll be facing constant heat and I just want them to make the lugs stand out, hopefully they'll do the job.

That's weird that the 5 holes aren't really used for anything, I'm wondering why did they make them different? and why are you thinking of the R40's? don't want the Revo or do you mean Revo R40?

Well to be honest I don't think anyone garages here measure torque, that's why I brought back a torque wrench from London last time I was there . It's wicked because I just set the torque spec into the wrench and screw in the lugs until it clicks. I love it and couldn't live without one, I've had mine for about 4 years now, used it on my Audi in the past.

I'd say just go out and buy a torque wrench because they always way over tighten mine, to the point where it's near impossible to unscrew , I found that out the hard way when I snapped one of my lug heads.

Oh yeah and I don't think I'm going to Dubai next week because my passport is still in the UK getting re-newed , I was there last year in the exhibition hall for like 4 freaking days, was very tired by the end.

same here ^
dealer tightened the lugs so hard that the head is starting to strip and wear off. The lugs were well over 120ft-lb's of torque when they should be set at 80ft-lb according to the service manual.
