Hasta La Vista Little Birdie!

One of my coworkers drives an 08 Journey and she was walking to her car this morning and found this! looks like it hitched a ride without her even knowing!!

lol. she said the grille was fine.... i told her it was a good excuse to get the midnight black grille

I believe it would be something to do with aerodynamics, once it gets too close it can't pull out of the slip stream.

You know when you see birds trying to fly over a motorway they always have a hard time because of all the cars moving below and the cross winds generated....Or maybe she was flying horizontal and was unluckily scooped up

I've taken out quite a few birds in my day. They seem to fly right into me.
The worst was some huge buzzard looking thing that tried flying across a highway as I passed by in my Tacoma. It hit my front fender which caused a huge dent. It then bounced off, taking out the driver's side mirror. I got home and checked the damage, finding a huge streak of sticky nasty stuff all down the side of the truck.

I hit one in a UHaul once too. I was helping some friends move and I was driving the moving truck on the highway. A bird flew straight into the front of the truck and exploded. The friends following behind me called my cell and asked if I had just hit a bag of trash. I guess they all got covered in "stuff" behind me.

Stupid birds.

I took one out with my Suby once, I was scared it popped a hole in the IC.... but luckily all was good
