you wont find the writeup on driver due to safety reasons, but i believe you can find it in g35nyc forums. you will need to do the bypass and get the cable too.Originally Posted by Anton_Chigurh

nooo the cable doesnt allow you to do that (you have to go thru a bypass) but i rather not talk about it, this is too good of a thread to have it closed down.
Okay, Jorge answer my question! So I would get a composite and component cable?! I heard they different even though they look the same!?

I dont think it would make a difference i got the expensive one because it was the only one available at the time.
worst case scenario, return it get the other one, just make sure its a legit apple cable, other ones might not work properly

I have it done on my car and it is just fine. Infiniti and Nissan doesn't know a damn thing
. What you'll need is a RCA to Sync cable, if you're in Cali then Fry's Electronics will have it. I know they will because i work there hah. Look for Griffin, Belkin, Scosche or Apple they will have it. I got the Griffin one because the cables are really thick so there is less chance of fraying. It doesn't matter if you get a component or composite cable, the screen isn't that great itself.
