New wheels and tires came in today
Gary

They are on but there is a problem...major shimmy 50+ MPH
much worse than my stock setup which many of you knew i was having problems with. I am not using hub rings as i cant find a hub ring .4 mm difference
But i think i found my problem...

SO much wheel weight was used on 3 wheels..i mean over 10gs from the looks of it. So that tells me the tires and wheels were having a tough time balancing correct?
These wheels are pure sex..but the shimmy is going to be the death of me since i travel the highway a lot...
After doing some research..the heavier the tire and wheels package..the more weights are needed. So all of these weights may be normal

There are no rings from 66.1 to 66.5..at all...so what i am going to do is wrap something around the car's wheels bore to make it a tighter fit..maybe that will help
Doubtful you can just wrap something to make up for the 0.4mm difference in size. As someone mentioned in another thread, you can have custom wheel spacers made that have different sizes for the hub.
Are the wheels/tires roadforce balanced? I have actually never seen weighted tape put on tape.
Problem now is you will never know if the vibration is from the balance, from the lack of hub centering or something with your car.
Also, why is it that Salvatore has the same wheels but he has hubcentric rings? His set has a different diameter than 66.5?
