There's nothing illegal about black tails unless it fails the requirements for visibility. I know NV and AZ both state your tail lights have to be visible from X distance and headlights from Y distance. Then there's requirements for colors of parking lights and headlights. Other than that, they can kiss my booty for having any shading on the lens.

 

Last time I got pull over by a motorcycle cop, I got hit with tint, exhaust, no front plate and expired insurance card (forgot to put the new insurance card in my wallet)

This is possible. On the 1st day i get my car the very 1st day i get pulled over. (this was partially my fault cuz i didnt have my dealerplate on the back it was on the front .... the screws on the back were broken thus) So he pulls me over and tells me why am i driving with no plates i explain to him that i am a dealer and the screws are broken.... so the plate is on the front of the car..... sum how we end up talking about the car and he is really interested. (car is stock just got it 1st day lol) i show him my brembos, the navi and the car.. We start talking bout pricing ..... and after he hands me back my stuff and tells me to get it fixed asap.

 

i got pulled over the other day for speeding, man was i moving! i was definently WOT! i pull into the liquor store im going to and cop pulls up few seconds later, and just says "u were really moving there, and while one was checking my record the other was checking out my car and asked me what it was as well! lol he asks me why i was driving so fast and i told him because im an idiot that misses his car (my brother drives it right now) they come back give me a warning and leave! coolest cops yet!

 

I have only had one decent police encounter. I was doing 120kms in a 90km/h zone, basically I was on a snowboard road trip with 3 friends and get pulled over. It was a lady cop, she takes my lisence insurance etc and goes back to her car.

My friend beside me who is about 31 (I'm 24) says hey I know that chick she always comes into the skateshop and buys sunglasses. So when she comes back she asks me what colour is my truck(was driving my bluish grey 2010 gmc sierra at the time) I'm like ugh blue lol. Then my friend chimes in and says whats up to her, she recognized him and they get to talking a whole bunch, lots of chit chat.

Friend ends up getting me out of a ticket basically with a warning because he knew the cop. I was so thankful because I had 2 demerit points left on my license here in ontario and would have had my license suspended otherwise.

 

So you got out of a ticket because the lady cop buys a lot of sunglasses on a regular basis? Interesting.

 

lol nope. The officer was put in a better mood from chit chatting with my friend I'd imagine and let me off with a warning and because she knew somebody in the vehicle.

hey i was never lucky either when i had my corolla, i had about 7 tickets in 1 year!

but now ive been let off the hook more than ever! in my experiences with getting pulled over, if u tell them the complete truth and show them u are a good kid and know what u did was wrong theyre usually cooler!

ive been let off the hook a LOT! and also been caught a LOT and most the times i have been let go is because i was honest, they thanked me for being honest and helped me out with either just letting me go or just giving me a warning

 

If you got pulled over that many times in one year YOU are doing something wrong!!! I've been driving for more than 22 years. I've been pulled over once! It was all my fault too. I hate going off on people, but seriously. Make sure you're not blaming "the man" for trying to keep you from having fun.
