Gialla Style Grille for 05-06 sedan

I've been waiting forever to get a gialla style grille on my sedan but no one ever made one. After another member on here found one on ebay and said the fitment was pretty good i decided to order my own. Got it from importautoparts2005 or shoppingonline2004 (same seller) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-I...00622257QQrdZ1 on ebay. Initially the grille doesnt fit very well because the mold was wrong, but after taking the dremel to it, it fits perfectly. However the material is top notch quality. I spent about an hour getting the grille to fit to my satisfaction and couldnt be happier with it. Now on to the pics! The grille is just spray painted gloss black for now until i take it to the body shop to get the entire front of the car repainted.

Here's the final fitment/paint picture:

lol, you've got that right. our gaps are comparable. however, redlude isn't very fond of the gap between my grille and hood either (and i can understand why, but i like it ).

either way, you can see it on my car and that's just how it'll be on anyone elses, he's actually a good guy, i bought it from him on ebay and told him that the fitment wasnt great at first (the back part that you cant see was too thick, so i dremeled it down a bit) and he joined G35driver.com and PM'ed me asking me for pictures and actually helped me by giving me tips on how to get it to fit. So i dont think he's sketch at all.

sounds like a decent enough guy...made an account here and somehow tracked you down to ask about fitment.

Really? I didn't realize you followed all of my posts so you knew everything I've ever commented on. Its true that I'm not very fond of aftermarket parts that leave gaps larger than stock. I've even seen authentic gialla grills that have gaps, so thats why I'm hesitant to get one. Just because I don't go around boosting everyone's egos and padding my post count doesn't mean I hate on everyone's stuff. IMO, the stock grill looks better, if you are going to post something you have to take the bad with the good

I'm fine with you saying that you dont like the fitment, i dont mind because i like it, doesnt bother me a bit. I'm just saying that pretty much every post of yours i read is you correcting someone or commenting in a negative sense, not saying you dont have anything positive ever, just most the post's i happen to come across make it seem that way. I mean you are trying to help save members money by informing them about the eibach rear camber kit! that's a start right? No hard feelings bro.

Then you are selectively reading my posts and ignoring the ones where I help people out. Just search the posts I've made today, and I've helped at least 10+ members with questions they have had. I correct people when they are wrong because if I don't, misinformation gets spread around the boards and makes things worse for everyone, especially the noobs who don't know any better
