I tried to organize a Dyno Day at Garage Kwai earlier in the year. No takers. I would like to Dyno again. Any takers?

Re: ey Chicago and Suburbs

My mods include Z Tube (in the mail,) Grounding Kit (in the mail, probably a waste of $,) Stillen True Duel (waiting for non-stillen dyno,) JWT intake (still reasearching, butthis looks like it makes the best HP when combined with the Z-Tube,) Work Wheels (buying from a private seller who is waiting to talk to her Work rep-in Japan-to get the offset of the wheels... I'm still not 100% that they fit.) So right now, no mods. That's why as soon as possible I want to pull against a G35 Coupe 6MT to test stock HP.
I dont know much of anything about accord engines, but with your setup, I would approximate about 280whp, if not more. If I'm very lucky, I'm putting down about 230whp. I guess we can go for it, but let me post first in the accord forums about it. I don't want anyone thinking that i had any allusions about winning-just helping you out by letting you know how much you'de win by.

Well, let me know. I'll track her. Also, while you're replacing pistons, let me implore you LOWER THE COMPRESSON to about 8.5 to 1, then pump boost to about 12 psi. it'll be safer, and you'll make more power. Again, I don't know jack about accord engines, so the 12psi isa very rough number, you could probably go a lot higher with 8.5 compression.

Re: ey Chicago and Suburbs

Lowest I can do is 9.0:1 which is better to my stock 10.0:1. Oh and I was at 8psi but damaged several stock pistons due to gradual detonation on the top-end. So now, Im actually looking forward to forged internals. As far as more boost, I need aftercooler to be made in order to raise over 10psi due to excessive heat and nobody makes it for Accord V6 so I have to keep my eyes open for a custom job.
