St. Louis Grounding Kit Install

I recently bought the Grounding Kit from Gordgee. Unfortunately I don't have a torque wrench. I was wondering if anyone in St. Louis had one they might let me use or if anyone could help me install the kit. Although the directions don't look difficult, I haven't worked on cars in the past so I'd like someone around who could help make sure I don't screw anything up. Thanks.

Re: St. Louis Grounding Kit Install

Well I signed the deal on a G35 coupe Leather 6MT, Premium package, Brilliant Silver with Graphite Leather today. It will be in at the end of this month. I do not have a torque wrench to help, but I may be able to lend a hand if you need one. Do you know if there are any other people from STL on this post?

Yeah, they are a some others. In fact we did have one meet a couple of months ago at Westport. I'm planning on trying to do the install tomorrow because it supposed to be warm.

Sorry to take this off track, but do any of you guys know of a good detailer in the St Louis area (Clayton). I'm at school there and have no real place to wax/wash my own car. I need a complete handwash and wax job..

Re: St. Louis Grounding Kit Install

Umm, you don't need a torque wrench to install a grounding kit. The grounding kit is just a 5 or 7 wire kit that you connect between various parts of the engine to decrease resistance for the electrical components. I installed my 5 wire kit with a 10mm socket wrench.

Well I picked up my G35 on Friday! And so far I love it outside of not being able to get into some driveways, and I got stuck at my sisters school.

Cool, congratulations on the purchase. Did you buy from Plaza or Bommarito?
