I have to date 14 shirt orders. 2k2 promised me the modified G35 logo and the Fuji logo by Friday so it's off to the screen shop on Saturday to order the shirts. I need 50% down to order and balance at delivery. I'll front all of you believing that we're trustworthy loyalists to the cause, to our cars, and to me! Since I'm taking these steps, I have to ask that everyone think of me next holiday season when it's time to remember those who helped you! You can donate Stillen alloy headers, Stillen sedan true dual exhaust, or a Stillen supercharger with new hood! I will be looking forward to one if not all of these pleasures down the road so please keep me in mind!

I agree with lmaz....passion goes further than just your car....it is about the people. I can tell you that I have a sense of humor about this whole meet and find it amazing how all of us have no idea (for those of us that haven't met) what and who each of us are. I will pm you lmaz on the personals.

 

But after all of the email it feels like we know each other. Kind of weird. I know Chip and he is cool. I am also trying to get another guy to come who I have hung out with before.

LMaz, Thanks for the kudos!! Next year I want the Chicago Auto Show on the home page with a link like Dallas's! It's not fair - our show is the biggest of it's kind in America and second biggest in the world! We deserve more advertisement that just a lonely post in the Midwest forum! So, for next year, please help get us front page billing! Regarding off-topics, social aspect is very important, I agree! I'm only railing you a little on the off-topic stuff here - I could care less what anyone posts. It's a free site and a free country so go for it!

2k2max has not yet sent me the logos! I'm stuck without them! If I get them ths weekend, I can get the order in on Monday probably and stil have the shirts ready by the meet I hope. I may have to bribe the screen shop or pay a rush fee and if I do, I'll have to spread the charge across all the shirts. That's only fair, would you agree? I hope 2k2 sends me a midnight email of them so I can order tomorrow though! Come on 2k2, gimmie what you got!

The lower engine belt on my car got frayed from the cold and when I started my car tonight after work, I smelt burning rubber and a ticking noise was coming from the engine like a piece of the belt was sticking out hitting something in the engine every time the belt went around the pulleys. I think the cold weather got me here! 2 days of zero and lots of slip control going on today probably wore that sucker out! Everything's ok and I got the Infiniti roadside assistance to tow me to my dealer, no questions asked and my car's there now waiting to be serviced. So since I got to my dealer a day earlier than I expected, I asked about show tickets and if they had any. They don't, at least not yet! So, I'm going back tomorrow to make sure all's cool with the G and I'll ask again then! I hopefully can pull off a good number of free tickets, escpecially since I'm in on warranty repairs! I'll post what I find out tomorrow!

I have 5 peeps down for Breakfast. I don't know if the Indy folks will make it for chow or not. If anyone wants to go but hasn't replied, I just need to know by the night of the 6th latest, but not at Midnight please! That's the absolute deadline for breakfast RSVP's. You can still show up if you don't RSVP and can go a the last minute, but I might not be able to get you at the table we're all at if they've seated us already.

I sent LMaz some shirt order discrepancies. If anyone wants to clarify these, please PM me now since I have the final order and it needs to be placed ASAP!!!! Here are the errors I sent LMaz:

Forte Darren L. Forte IN XL Light blue -Color close to Caribe Blue – I show him ordering a black colored shirt! Which is it????

ekaz ? IL XL ? – I show him as a question mark for shirt color, you have him down as black. Which color is it?

2k2MaximaRIP ? Sedan IL L ? – I got a PM from 2k2 saying he wanted a Medium Black shirt. Did he actually PM you with Large?

I have beerviper down for an XL red as he PM’ed me.

i worked late, went out, came home, talked politics with a friend in NY, and am now putting the finishing touches on the files. I'll send 'em out in eps file format (that should be best because that way the printer can infinnatly resize them with no loss of quality.) If for some odd reason eps is no good, let me know asap and i can resend in some other format. Excuse any errors in this message, as i said, I went out. Now to finish up the files.
