Well, it was bound to happen. I received a ticket for not having my front license plate on. I know plenty of police officers have seen my car without the plate, but this is the first that decided he wanted to give me ticket for it. Well, I ordered the license plate holder from StrictlyZ. I'm not sure what to do about the ticket. I could go to court and hope the officer doesn't show or I could just pay it. What do you guys/gals think.

Buy the front frame and install it. take a pic of your car with it and bring the pic to court to show the judge. He may just throw out your ticket. If it's not installed yet by your court date, bring the frame itself or a copy of the order for the frame with and hope the judge still tosses it. If you show good faith, so might the judge. If not, the worst that happens is you pay the fine no matter what so don't pay it now! This is not a moving violation so nothing goes on your record!

It's a cheap enough ticket, i'd just pay it and forget about it. like chiphead said it's not a moving violation so there's nothing to worry about there

Thanks guys. The court day is April 9th so I should receive the frame well before then. Once I get the cost of the ticket I'll decide if I think I should just pay it or if I should talk it over with the judge or someone.

never heard of anyone having to have to go to court for no front license plate. just take a pic with it on ur car and bring the pic and ticket to the records office at the police station and they will throw it out.
