Curious if many of you G owners have had seat problems? Both the motors were out in my passenger seat so I bought a spare seat and striped it down to the bones this last weekend. I am amazed at how many other useful parts I still have leftover. It is crazy what the dealer charges for some of these parts (actually the just make you buy a whole seat section). After taking it apart I really wonder why they make you buy a whole new seat track if you only need a motor or plastic gear (I know whey they do it-$400 is alot more $$ than $5). It is ridiculous. I am amazed at how easy most of these parts are to swap out. I could have swapped a new motor into the lower seat section w/o even taking the seat out if it were available. Anyway check out my signature for the thread with extra seat parts. Local pickup on these heavy items = discount.

not sure if people are up for a meeting during the winter, i wouldn't mind though. As long as we're not being hammered with a storm, or an inversion kicks in

Not too many people want to deal with bad weather...but I think there are a lot of us that will get together. With you I know of at least 5 of us. This saturday is supposed to be pretty good weather.

I may be skiing this weekend, but i'll keep checking back to see when you guys might meet up. BTW my G is filthy. This is my first winter with the G, and i wish i could wash her more often. During the summer I washed her almost every week. It's just freakin cold up here in Logan all the time.

you can wash your car when its cold, its fine as long as you dry it good and the sun is out to keep the water from freezing. you need to keep the salt off of it

Yeah, I've washed it a couple times this winter, but I travel a lot for work so washing it just to leave it at the airport is pointless. If it gets above 30 this weekend maybe i'll wash her again.

Saturday (tomorrow) at 1PM. Fashion Place mall (5600 S State) in the parking lot in front of the food court/Cheesecake Factory. Spread the word. Make sure everyone you know shows up.
