I am very curious what the good shops in the Chicagoland area are. In the city? What shop do you use? In the north suburbs? What shop do you use?
This information may be posted in several other postings, but I would really like to compile it right here, for all to use as a reference.
Any and all contact information is more than welcome as well. We can think of this as a directory just for our car!

A&L body shop at Palatine. I heard many good things about them from euroteknik forum. They are specialized at European car, but they are also good at Japanese car. I have been there a couple times, Anthony is a great guy.
depending on what you are looking to do, I know HollyWood motorsports is good.
They are pricey, but goodey.
For basic work, I use Delta Autoservice (around Libertivelle)
Strictly Modified guys know their stuff.
If you are looking for a sound system that will REALLY rock, I would say Perfect Soundz is the best bet.
The guy is well known and is AMAZING at what he does.
Not too expensive either.
Rays electronics is kinda okay too.

Put up my exhaust, guys are saving my family cars for last 2 years.
On my Tiburon they helped me to diagnose a problems i had, fixed most of them.
On my mother's civic - did a free maintenance on the car just because their manager(owner) didn't think that it is appropriate to charge for changing filter, using sea foam and engine cleaning, since we could do it ourselves. (no, he is not a family friend)
on my father's accord eliminated multiple problems for bargain prices.

Guys are the exhaust shop. Doing job quick, good and cheap.
Should you need any exhaust work done, go there.
Did catback on my buddy's SRT4 for 110$(including tax, piping(not muffler) and labor)
Fixed my muffler on the tiburon.
they also did a 2.4" cat back on my tC
Also, should anyone need tint, I have a guy who does extremely good job.
For g35 i think its going to cost 150.
He's done every car I and my friends have ever owned.

Are you a part of Chicago Z? You can usually find people that will do them for you and all it might cost is a case of beer. Everyone is ALWAYS helping out each other, that's how I got my springs on.
