Lexington/Louisville Meet Aftermath

Well, the meet was a huge success. We had about 25 cars show up Friday night in Louisville for a pre-meet of sorts. A nice mix of cars, G35's, Q's, Z's, B13's, Max's, s13 and 14's and plenty of other nice Nissan/Infiniti's. On Saturday we had about 60 cars show up to caravan from Louisville to the Horsepower House ("HPH") in Lexington. It was a beautiful site to see 60 cars pulling out in a long line together. Again, there was a great assortment of cars. Once at the HPH there was a dyno set up and plenty of other cars to look at. I am going to make a rough guess that about 100 cars showed up throughtout the day. An amazing Noble and a couple Vipers with all the other Nissan/Infiniti's. We then treked over to a drag strip in Clay City only to have the event rained out after about 30 minutes worth of runs.

Darrin (Forte) had his CB G35 coupe dyno'd at 194 on a Mustang dyno and got a couple 1/8th mile runs in before the rain started and he could get any quarter times. Our big dyno of the day was about 250 on a Subaru WRX STI. The big Nissan/Infiniti number was a 204 on a 240 sx.

All in all it was a great meet with a huge turnout. Nice people and great cars. What more could one ask for? Well, it would have been nice if the rain had held off.

I will post a link up with picutures of the event and dyno and track videos in the coming week. Check back to see some videos of Forte's dyno and track runs. His car sounds and looks amazing. I also want to congratulate Forte on recieving a best show plaque.
