i'm not up often. she's a pharmacist student and has a year left so she's pretty busy. i'm tuning my car right now then i will want to start taking it on trips. I work all through the weekend so the only times i'm free is m-f.

do you have a garage to work out of there? I have quite a few tools and i could pack almsot all that we would need up and bring them. I've never done an sts kit but it doesn't look too hard.

hit me with a pm or email

blackbird, are you up for heading to lafeyette to work on this car?

my schedule is pretty packed but i'm thinking a week from this coming monday i could go help. This is Ran's only car so we'd have to getit done in a day. It would be best if we had a few of us then we could knock it out. My s/c install took a week by myself with all the things i had to get to finish the install. I would have to come home monday night.

ya, that's what it will be, not this coming monday (june 15th) but the next monday (june 22).

where are you taking it to get tuned and when? maybe we could get "group" deal. I'm tuning my SSbox on my own but I guess i could do some dyno pulls and have someone else tune it for me if it's a good price and they are good at it.

Hal at Injected Performance is tuning my car, he charges about $500 for a map but he is a very good tuner and they use a Dyno Dynamics

Plus you get to see all their awesome cars

June 22nd sounds good to me. There are a few local guys here that could probably help out as well.

Just got done taking pictures of everything but I left my SD card at home. I'll upload them later tonight or tomorrow.

Called STS, they were supposed to send me some instructions but nothing yet in my e-mal.

oh sweet. my clutch is brand new. When they replaced my tranny last fall they replaced my clutch and flywheel also do to "premature wear caused by failing transmission". totally sweet. So i have 6k miles on my oem clutch now.

If it will hold then maybe i'll run it for a while. With that low of miles i was thinking i could pull the clutch/flywheel and sell it for a good price to help pay for my aftermarket clutch/flywheel. what would you recommend?

and soon i'll be going to 325's in the rear, so i'll def need to upgrade the clutch then.

i'll email you what they sent me. I haven't been able to get it opened though. maybe you'll have more luck.
