Re: front end disaster
Do you mean it's just all chipped up? If so, look into clear bras (by 3M or others). Lots of threads on it, just do a search. However, most clear bras just go up the hood about 6 inches, nowhere near the 3/4 you mention. I suppose you could do the whole thing, but that may get pricey. At least then the faint line won't be seen either though.
Anyhow, welcome!

Hey stealthg, welcome to our community!
Unfortunately we are all in the same position. I am kicking myself now for not doing a clearbra when I bought the car 3 months ago ... it's too late now .
There is a big thread on this over at freshalloy: <a href="http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB25&Number=67734800&page =1&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1" target="blank">Paint Chips by the thousands</a>. It seems that several people have had good luck after a repaint. It's the water based paint that Infiniti uses.
Just yesterday I was at my dealer for an oil change and the clearbra installer was there. I talked to him for a while and he says he sees this on most new cars ... Porsche, Acura, Mercedes, etc. So it's not just our cars.
