I'm coming in from Kentucky for the race. I will be there from Thursday morning (to do the Pit Lane Walkabout) until after the race. If you guys are going to gather your G's somewhere, I'll be glad to add my Laser Red coupe to the bunch!

 

How about something around 1-2 on Sat. afternoon? Either that, or after 7 I'm free. It's Fathers' Day, and I'll be visiting my folks, so Sunday until about 7 is off limits to me [img]/w3timages/icons/frown.gif[/img]

Come on Geo. You know I love the other cars, but I'm a Vette fanatic. We've got two, so we have to represent this weekend. It is the only true American sports car. Look forward to seeing you this weekend. And you know I'm down for the Sellar.

 

HardDriver- Looking forward to hanging out! I am thinking that we may do the G thing on Saturday after 7 (Geo?) But I will be at the track for most of Saturday. Are you camping or do you have a hotel? My brothers are camping and I have a hotel. We can find a time to meet up before the G meet if you want. We can watch some practice if you want.

Indy people- what are we gonna do on Saturday night???

Hmm, I will be limited on Friday and Saturday unfortunately. My grandmother had a massive stroke yesterday and has also been diagnosed with Myeloma, so I will be spending quite abit of time with the family at the hospital during the day on Saturday. I may be available Friday night after 7 or 8 and the same for Saturday. I will deffinetly be at the race Sunday as long as the situation with my grandmother does not become more grave.

But as for saturday night, there are several decent places to hang out. I'm sure that Geo has a better idea of what to do, but I will through out a suggestion. The Rathskeler is always a great place to hang out on a summer evening, lots of beer and live music outside. Really whatever everyone else wants to do is fine with me. Whatever happened to the idea of a cookout at Geo's?

I've got a pretty packed social calendar while I'm in Indy, unfortunately. Engagement party on Sat., Fathers' Day activities on Sunday (then dentist and Mole Patrol on Mon, and tues., respectively). The engagement party ends at 7 on Sat, so I can do something after that. In fact, I'm a big fan of the Rathskellar on the night before F1. PACKED, but FUN!

my visitor is gone and so i'm freed up somewhat. just let me know what the plans are. sunday is out for me because it's father's day. and if nothing is planned for saturday night, then i'm just going to head to the velvet lounge (some friends are celebrating because another friend just received her phd).
