VPP In Chicago?
VPP In Chicago?
I was wondering if anyone has has any experience with VPP with any dealerships in the Chicagoland area (In particular Orland Park)? Additionally, does anyone have any information on the cost of the Marketing Assessment associated with VPP?
Re: VPP In Chicago?
I got mine at Motorwerks in Barrington. Pretty straight forward transaction. I think the marketing fee was like $250, but not sure.

VPP is a discount program that some companies have with Infiniti. It basically comes down to invoice with a marketing fee.

Re: VPP In Chicago?
Hello Newbie Here,
I am not sure if you are looking at the coupe or the sedan, but I just purchased the coupe thorugh the VPP progam at Lilse Infiniti and am awaiting delivery on 7/5/04 (can't wait). they said they would honor it on the coupe upon my first call.
Originally, I called all the Chicagoland dealers except some how I missed calling Lisle Infiniti and no one would originally do it on the coupe, stating the coupe was in too high demand and they could get MSRP on it. I then decided to call 2 Wisconsin Infiniti dealers and the said they had no problem doing it and we could write it up on the phone but I was a little hesitant about doing it by phone and wanted to see if I could somehow buy it in Illinois.
So I called back around to the following 3 dealers in Chicago to tell them to that I was going to purchase in Wisconsin but wanted to keep my $ in Illinois and to see what they could do. Upon hearing that they then said they would do it.
The first go around all dealers said they would do it on the sedan but not the coupe so the sedan should be easy if that is what your looking for. The dealers I got to do the VPP on the coupe are:
Fletcher Imports (on Clark)
Orland Park
Motorwerks (Barrington-but they acted like my $ was not good enough-I can explain if you like)
Lisle-They were great. They said yes write of the bat, gave me good value on my trade, and it was completely straight forward and did not have to convince them to do the VPP-(I would recommend them)
Sorry about the long first post, but getting Chicago area dealers to agree to do the VPP on the coupe was just such a process and I want to prevent that for someone if I can. I wanted to let you guys know about my experience and that Lisle was the only one that honored the VPP without any questions or long discussion (too bad I thought I had orginially called them too, but hadn't). I called the others before I talked to Lisle and he had the exact car I wanted already scheduled to come in on delivery.
Hope this helps
Enzo.

Enzo,
Thanks so much for all the info you have provided me with. You have cut down my research significantly. I have been talking to salespeople at both Orland and Lisle. All I have to do is sell my truck and I'll be in the clear. Thanks . .. .

Re: VPP In Chicago & Lisle Infiniti
Just wanted to put out a quick message that I picked up my Coupe last night at Lisle Infiniti (what a machine!!!!) through the VPP program and we got to talking about this site. They said they are happy to do it on the Coupe for anyone who has/qualifies for the VPP. I thought I would share that with everyone and if any wants/needs it I can give you the name of the sales rep if you want it, he was great. I would definately recommend him and the dealership for all buyers, and especially VPP. Just thought I would let you guys know just in case it helps.
Re: VPP In Chicago & Lisle Infiniti
In order to get the VPP discount you have to be employed/affiliated with an organiztion that offers it as a perk to their assoicates. You should probably ask your HR department about it. If they do offer it they should have a 1-800 that you would call and get your VPP ID # that you would present to the dealer along with your work ID.
