Minnesota Summer Sunday Morning Meet And Greets at Luther Infiniti
I was at the autoshow tonight talking with Dale (same guy we bought our 08 from and i always talk with) and he expressed interest in doing a meet and greet every 1st sunday morning or every other sunday or somthing, at Luther Infiniti in Bloomington. A car type show that we could meet and shoot the ****.
He said he would talk to the general manager to get the OK, but he said they could offer donuts and coffee type of thing.
I told him you guys would probably like that so he is going to ask.
What do you think? We could show on their lot and stuff. other clubs have done it.

Every other would probably be overkill but maybe once a month might be alright. I was just went there on Saturday to get an oil change and start my oil consumption test and it seems like a good place to meet up. I saw another guy there that had a lakeshore slate g35 coupe waiting to get his oil changed. I'd think that we'd probably need more than the normal active members here though to make it seem worthwhile for them to do and even for us to attend religiously
Is this supposed to be open for any cars? Infinitis only? G35/G37's only?

350zs and g35s. It would be a morning thing, and probably once a month. I dont necessarily think it would be open for ever car, probably just nissans/infinitis.
I'll see what Dale says though.

I'm sure if we have these meets there once a month, they will post something at the dealership. Some sort of flyer or something. That way it will not only be the current crew, but everyday people who stop by Luther and want to check it out.
I agree!
Very cool, its a good way of advertising for them because it gets people to the lot on Sunday when they are not open to look around as well.

I wouldn't make it first sunday of every month....cars and coffee is that sunday if I'm not mistaken. That would severely detract from attendance. I would make it the second or third sunday in every month. The first weekend of a lot of months tends to always be busy it seems anyways with holidays. I would definitely attend though.....even though they deny doing service work to my car under warranty because my 'aftermarket suspension is the cause of my creaking/cracking roof'.

Nic, I don't know if you found this thread but they talk about the creak issue with the roof in the 37's and how it was a carryover issue with the 35. Seems to just affect some cars though.

Luther infiniti is one of my least favorites spots, i had to get my door handle fixed, they did all this work, took it for 4 hours and gave it back to me with pieces loose in the door panel and a half fixed job.
Go to Lupient Infiniti in golden valley, look for steve savitt, that guy is the man! super respectful, he's the guy i look for
but i'd be down to meet up sundays
