Talking

I'm moving out to Crown Point Indiana in September. I'm moving from the extreme heat of Arizona to the extreme cold of Indiana. I can't wait. I used to live in Lansing/Lynwood IL. when I was younger. It will be nice to be back in that area. Anyone that wants to meet up when I move out there would be great.

What do you mean, expensive sub-divisions?

Lots of nice high end houses over there. Many wealthy people who work in Chicago live there and commute. What brings you to IN?

Bought house in Surprise Arizona 2 years ago for 175,000 and I am selling it for 360,000. The market in Surprise Arizona has become almost more expensive to live in than Scottsdale Arizona (which was the most expensive place to live in Arizona). I am taking the money (equity) 360,000-175,000 and paying off my G and my Dodge Ram and moving to Indiana to be by my family and to start a new job with my father. My relatives and friends live in that area or close to it. After all expenses are paid (debt and moving) I hope to have about 100k to put on a house. I own my own company (commerical surveying) right now in Arizona but it is with a friend of mine and his family and I have the least ownership in it so I think I have a greater chance to financially succeed by moving there. I also have the chance to be part of a family run company. Hopefully everything will work out there.

Sounds awesome! Hope all goes well when you get out here. New house market is great in my area as well. New constructions coming up all over the place.
