Re: Colorado Owners

hey you said you are 18? Did you go with your dad? I bet they are just being jack ***** not giving you the deal. If possible just take your dad and let him take care of it.

Re: Colorado Owners

oh man.. that sux..

just forget about everything and just get a bmw or something. If the dealer is charging you over MSRP just order it from out of state.

Re: Colorado Owners

If your considering out of state try these guys: http://www.grubbsinfiniti.com/en_US/

They seem to have great availability and may be willing to deal since there are several infiniti dealers in Texas. Plane ticket may be reasonable and the drive back from the DFW area through New Mexico has some nice stretches.

Re: Colorado Owners

I tried for a month to get a deal going with Infiniti of Denver on a 6MT coupe. They only responded to my e-mails about half the time and didn't follow through with giving me a quote or delivery time on an order even though I asked several times. You must have to beg them to sell you a car. They did tell me that they can only order two 6MT per month. I've had enough of that treatment. I just ordered G35C, 6MT, CB/Graphite, Premium, Splash Guards from Grubbs in DFW. Danny Mayer is great to work with and seems to understand car enthusiasts more than most Infiniti dealers. I should be in my coupe before the month is over.

Re: Colorado Owners

That's great! so you are getting CB heh? About begging for coupe, hmm maybe I didn't really begged for mine. I just picked out the one in the showroom =D For the Clear bra you were talking about, I am planning on putting my by myself. I have the lower bumper clear bras but haven't installed them yet. If everything goes well, if not just get it from tinting places around you.

Re: Colorado Owners

I see about 5 a month go through their web site so they must have been putting the presure on or had less of an allocation several months back. I have mine on order through them but will jump to DFW if I get any sign of a problem.

Re: Colorado Owners

I took it in the rear at Infiniti of Denver and I'm still smiling. I just got it on 7/31/03

I got the 6 spd coupe which doesn't stay on the lot for more than a day.
I think I got lucky in that mine has everyuthing I wanted...which was everything.

Re: Colorado Owners

Thanks, lollolboy!
I've seen only one G in Longmont. We have a 350 in my lot at work. I want to compare 'em side by side.

Somebody pick a time and place for breakfast and then lets cruise the Peak to Peak highway. If I ain't in the car, I'm on the Harley up there.

Unless if someone from down south want to pick a place.....I don't know much down there

Big problem with the mountains this time of year is the all the Fukawee Indians in their campers.

Re: Colorado Owners

**** congrats on the new 6MT! I like the idea of a peak to peak cruise. I got mine in June after waiting for three months. Think of the campers as opportunities to see what the G has for passing power. LOLBoy, We talked some time back but I didn't have my car yet, I'm ready to go for a drive with some other G's now.

Are there any other Colorado G owners out there that would like to get in on a good cruise in the mountains? I'm thinking the weekend after the Labor day weekend would be a good one for the peak to peak. Maybe breakfast, a run up the canyon to peak to peak and then on to Estes for some lunch.

Re: Colorado Owners

Count me as one more Colorado Coupe owner.. 2003.5 Brillant Silver 6MT.. Got it 12/20/03 and I am just now settling down to where I don't go out to the garage and check on it at night.. I'm the only one in these parts, Sterling, and I like that.. I can really turn this thing loose on these long lonely highways up here.. Got new rims with snow tires and that makes a big difference between life and death ya know..
If I see any of you in Denver from time to time, I shall honk and wave.. Saw a new Z in Ft. Collins, zoomed up along side to say hi because we are cousins, and damn near scared him to death..
The only drawback is my wife wants to learn how to drive it.. She never has driven a stick, so I may rent a beater, or borrow an old truck so she can grind 'em... That's how I learned..
This is a good web site with lots of info.. Took a whole day to skim General coupe stuff.. I also smell slight rubber burning from time to time.. Nothing serious I guess.. See y'all later..
