i would like to introduce myself, my name is ryan and i just bought my first G... its a 08 blue slate g35x with navi....i wake up at 6 every morning just to make sure its still there...

 

NICE Ryan! WELCOME bro with open arms to the G family!! Taylor who I know from college just bought his 07 g35x too! He'll be pumped that he has another fellow X!

Think you can make it to the first meet?? Us "g's" might be together the weekend before to do final installs and small things before the first big z/g meet.

Most of the chatter has moved its way over to the G37 forums(try to keep everyone together to chat and keep in touch).

Also, since you have a 2nd gen, most of your mods will be over on that site anyways. I ususally just come back to this thread to check out if we have any new members, or to keep up to date on anything over here. I previously owned an 06 G35 coupe and upgraded last summer to my 37.

You'll also see the thread made for the actual meet on May 7th.

Are you in to modding? any plans for the car? Either way, congrats man! We're just a bunch of car nuts that like to get together every month or every other for a meet or just to chill. Great group of guys!

 

 

Hey Lance, is there anyway that we could change the date of the meet to the 14th so that it is the weekend some of us return from school? If not that's fine but it would be easier to attend!

 

Sorry bro, all of the Z's already are all about the date. A big part of it is the fact that the 2nd cars and cafe is that morning.

HAHA! I don't have any issues with sliding around...especially with my tine 235 winter wheels Its HORRIBLE!

thanks for the welcome..... one question to anyone with an X.. i went out driving today to see how well the awd system is, and i was sliding around in the corners pretty good. is that normal or do i have bad tires? the tread looks deep by the way...the tires are nexen n7000.

 

From my two months of experience, if you do not want to slide at all, just click the snow button (this goes to full time AWD). Because of the way the system works, if rear wheels slipping some power is transfered to the front, you will be able to slide a little bit.

 

Tires probably. My friends AWD slides badly around corners as well and his tires are horse****.

The meet date will work. We will all just come down haha

My fiancee Lindsey has an 05 FX35. She's around for the meets...when their here at my place that is, lol. I would imagine she'll make it to a few C&C this year as well. I'll add you onto the list bud!
