1st off... Ive heard the roads are horrendous? How bad is it down by the Sears Tower area? actually going to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

So gonna hit up Navy Pier, Lake Shore Drive, and everything down by there.

Also what are some points of interest I should hit while Im down there?

 

Very congested area, especially down Michigan Ave. Roads are so-so, some worse than others. Your biggest problems will be traffic and construction, and the ever-abundant reckless cab drivers. Oh--and the highway robbery that we call downtown parking--unless you're coming down for business and expensing everything. You'll enjoy navy pier--when it's not too chilly. Michigan Ave has a lot of shops--though I don't frequent them, so can't tell you what's good. Points of interest really depends on what you're in to. Good luck on your trip here.
