Howdy all!

I want to introduce myself again to the VQ's in the greater Denver area. I'm Shank and as of last week, I am a Colorado resident. (HI SHANK, in a classic AA tone)

I am excited to meet the entire VQ family in the area and would love to get us together on a regular basis to hang out, share knowledge, and enjoy our vehicles on cruises and shows! G35driver is a fantastic community and I would love it to extend into our daily lives.

The best way I have found to grow the community is with a regular, reliable meet and greet. A place where we know the G's will be and can plan ahead to be there. (I know I have to use a day pass with the wifey/baby to go play cars lol)

So here is what would be great,
First, I know the Colorado roll call thread is going, I just want to confirm that everyone in there is still active and interested in meeting with other car fanatics in the area.

Second, I propose we set up a monthly meet at a set location which is convient for as many people as possible. I have found a nice 3rd Sunday of the month at 7pm in the evening meet makes it easiest to get great attendance.

So here's what we need:
Please respond to this thread as you come across it and share it with anyone you know in the area. This way we can "update" the Denver area group.

Please post your opinions on a good location for a meet and if the third Sunday of each month would work for you. If it does not, please give me an optional day (please keep it something we can replicate such as second Tuesday @ 4am etc)

It would be great to keep this Inifiniti/Nissan, at least initially. But basically Anyone you know personally who has a love for cars is welcome, I'll never hate. Once we get a solid group we can always branch out if we want to

Love the idea of a monthly meet. Dave and Busters has always been an easy-to-find location for a car meet, the parking lot is large and its right off the highway. That location/time sounds great to me also, I am coming from Thornton but I'll make the drive.

Maybe for the first meet we can have it at Red Rocks for a meet and greet, then start doing them regularly at D&B?

Excited to meet everyone and get a nice G family going.

 

3rd Sunday works for me as well. I always have Sundays off, traffic is light as well at that time. I say we roll back to toys r us and spread the word to the other g's and z's. But then again we can just roll with who we get through g35driver. It doesn't matter to me. I am centrally located so we can meet wherever's clever. Red rocks would b nice.

 

^^ Good idea. Maybe even have the meet slightly earlier, say around 6? Then cruise to the Toys R Us meet around 8-8:30 and just take up a whole row

I am down, I won't be there until about 7:30 though.

 

FYI This Sunday I'm in Seattle, and next week I'll still be on the road from Seattle. So this is really a feeler for August for the full plan, I intend to make the Toys R Us meet once in a while, but I see that getting busted up frequently with all the jackassery that goes on...

 

Yeah for sure, it's only a matter a time before the cops bust that up. But ill be there tonight. I need to show off my new exhaust, lol.

We should Go to open track night on August 3rd at Bandimere speedway.

 

What kinda track? I'm guess'n drags if it's at night...

 

it is a 1/4 mile track. I have never been down a strip before. I will be ready to go after my tune tuesday.

 

Havent raced since last summer at least...I miss it, love the idea of a track day.

I miss having my 12 second sleeper though
