NAV or No NAV
Hey guys i got a quick question, i just ordered my 05 G35 Coupe, they didn't have any models with the kinds of spec that i wanted in my area or in any of the states around me. So we had to order straight from Japan and it will be in within a month, but my question is i have about a week to deside if i want nav or not, i would really like to kno if its worth getting or if its a waste. Let me kno guys i'll check back every hour or so... thanks
I personally did not get nav, same situation just didnt have any around, wasn't gunna wait. I dont know the coupe with one so its not a big deal to me. Im ordering next week a screen and nav shiz from digital wheelz. You can buy aftermarket nav systems for less than $1000 with the same goodies. Most people who didn't get NAV do you regret not getting it, but its not a big deal to some people. If money isn't a big deal, i'd suggest getting. There's always aftermarket stuff you can buy for much less.
I think the nav is one of the best things in the car
The actual map/nav function is outstanding... first few times you'll use it/need it
you'll be glad you bought it. Myfav was when i thought I knew where i was going, but had a big brain fart.... I just punched in the telephone number, and it told me how to get there - sweet
The additional stuff like the trip computer, fuel consumption, maintainence reminder, etc are all nice too.

I personally have the nav and love it. If you look at the many threads posted on this very question, I think it comes down to this: Many people who didn't get the nav wish they had, and very few people who got the nav regret that they did.

LOL sound good, i'll be calling the guy tomorow to set me up with a NaviCoupe. I also wanted to get the aero kit w/o the spoiler, but its like 700 bucks, wondering if you guys knew any cheaper places in chicago and get me a address too thanks felloz
Hegone, if you plan getting some type of aftermarket bodykit for the G then don't get the aero kit, why waste $700 on something that you are probably going remove and replace. But if or when I do get my G im probably not going to get the aero kit, probably going to look into an aftermarket one, even tho the aero kit looks hecka nice when the car is lowered a bit on the sedan.
