If there's still interest in a detail info session afterwards, I'm game. I dunno whose car we'll demo on, cuz I know if it's nice on Friday I'll be doing mine Fri afternoon / nite.

We can BBQ at my place if there's any interest. Or we could head to one of the many restaurants in Maple Grove also.

Sound off those who still plan on attending. I'll propose the following and we can work from there :

Saturday June 25, 2005
9:15 AM Meet at Jim's House
9:45 AM Leave for Morrie's Nissan in Brooklyn Park
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM "The Meet".
After Meet - 4:00 PM Detail Info session at Jim's
4:00 PM - 7:00 PM BBQ / Dinner
7:00 PM - ??? ???????

I have some tentative plans after 7PM. We'll see what happens, but we can just hang out if those fall thru, or head to somewhere else.

As far as the meet is concerned, we don't have to stay the whole time. I'm not sure if we'd need to be there right at 10AM, so we could push everything back an hour or 2 also. Someone needs to speak up on that.

I'll private message my address to those on the list sometime this week. If you'd prefer a note to a different email address, private message me that address and I'll reply there.

Those times may be tough for me to make. Later in the day is when it becomes more probable that I can make it. We'll see. If we get some rain this week, I will have even better odds of making it.

Being a farmer; rain = less work and more free time

I plan to be there, but 9am might be a bit early since I have a 1.5-2 hour drive.

A few thoughts:

what about lunch? the car show is 4 hours long, are there good eating options in walking distance?

Does anybody plan to show their car? If not, we should maybe do lunch first and then show up at noon for just 2 hours. sounds like people prefer the later times, so pushing it back would be better.

OK Let's just plan on meeting at Morrie's around noon on Sat, 6/25.

I've had a change in plans so I'll be detailing my car Saturday morning before I go to Morrie's. If anyone wants to stop by, let me know and I'll email my address. Not sure when I'l be starting...

Looks like I'm going to be able to make it down to the cities. I only have time for the show though, I have to go to an interview type meeting later in the after noon. I'll keep watching the site in case you guys think we should all meet up at a park close to there or something. It would make for a cool photoshoot. Expescially if it is nice out.

Brookdale or Hartkopf Park would be a cool and VERY CLOSE place to meet before we go over there.

Hey guys. I have just started negotiating on a G sedan 6mt and hope to hear back today on whether it's a done deal. I'd love to attend the meet (especially since I live like 3-4 miles from Morries Nissan), but I'm not sure that the dealer would be able to have my car ready to go by Saturday. We'll see and I'll keep you posted.

My plans are to just head to Morrie's around noon or so. If someone posts here that they wanna meet somewhere else and I see it, I'm in.

What's going on after the show? Some of us may not make it to the show.

Photos during or after the show would be just as good. Sun will be a bit lower anyhow. See you there.

Cool Scratch Remover

We have to do that again, I had a good time. I wanted to give you guys the name of the scratch remover, (Finesseit). I think 3M makes it. Good luck with all the BLK g's out there in The twin Cities trying to stay clean. Easy solution, buy pearl white next time.

PS. still looking for someone to take my lease over, so I can sell the busa and slip into that 04 WHite nsx at Wayzata Nissan.

Z-tube, UR-pulley, next JWT POP Charger BLk/Wheat loaded

Well, only about 1/2 turned out, but great to meet you guys. Who showed - jimcambell, g-busamate, rajsastry, ashadiow, nate.

I had no idea that place would be so crowded, that was nuts. The cool thing is this initial meet will make future meets easier and perhaps we have established a core group that are likely to be there next time. Maybe next time someplace where we can sit back and relax and do the cruise and photo thing.

btw ashadiow - how'd the interviews go?
