I think you may be the only G in Indy. I will try to get a few of the other G's to come when I do for F1.

Perhaps we can meet downtown some weekend? We can drive around the circle, honk our horns, and stand out our sunroofs! oh wait... that's kids on prom night.

when are you planning on doing this? i'm about two hours away in sourthern IN (madison/hanover area). i was up in indy july 2nd and rode along with a silver manual G35c i wonder if he was from indy i forget the license plate number though. was in the white G35C with a black bra in the front.

whatever time is good for you. Just let everyone know when i can't do it in the middle of august though be on vacaation.

 

There are many Gs running around the north side of Indy. I see several every day. The question is do they go to the G35 driver site?

I will be at the F1 race at the end of September. I made a mistake in the first reply for the F1 race. I have gone to all three races and will be going again this year. The F1 race is enjoyable to see the fastest race cars in the world but the Porsche and Ferrari races are enjoyable also. The Ferrari race is the owners of the Ferrari (not professional) running around a road coarse. This leads to many incidents.

I think you have a great suggustion to meet somewhere before the race. I have been going to Indy races for over 12 years, You will not get a group of car together at the track unless you are together before getting to the track.

I will be checking to site more often for more details.

i've seen quite a few Gs (mostly sedans) driving on I-74 going to cincinnati as well as the keystone area (perhaps D & R test drivers?).

I see them all over Keystone... there's one a few miles from my house, I'm tempted to throw a business card with g35driver.com info on it. I just drove 74 to King's Island yesterday [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img] Son of Beast ROCKS!

lol, yeah, I used to be a wuss too. My friend dragged me onto FaceOff and tada- addict. Now, Drop Zone will make you slightly sick to your stomach as you get to the top; you're about 350 feet above the park on a pole that shakes in the wind. Fun stuff. The last thing I remember hearing was my best friend sitting next to me saying "Dude, I'm sorry...damn, I'm sorry... no, really,I'm ssooooaaaaaaaaaaAHAAHHHH!!!" and then we were back on the ground. Come to think of it, I wanna do that again!

I don't think D & R does many of the test drives in the Castleton area. I went to the west for my test drive. I drove through a Meridian office complex which has little traffic and great curvy street. Great for testing a sports car. The D & R BMW sales reps show me the “D & R test track” as it known.

Most of the G35s on the north side of Indy are plated so the drivers own or lease the cars.
