I heard about the last one in this forum awhile ago. Any more info on this. Website? I think that the Car Boutique is a detail/aftermarket shop around the Schaumburg area if I can remember. I am not working that day, so maybe meeting up there would be a blast.

 

Their website is http://www.ecarboutique.com. The time is from 6-10 pm. I was unable to make it to the last meet but went to the first meet and met with Tim, Robert, and Shaun. This upcoming meet will be better as there will be music, food, and better raffle prizes. Besides, it will be fun meeting everyone up in this forum.

I'll try to be there. I just took delivery of my Coupe one week ago. I'd like to meet other Coupe owners because the other one's I have seen on the road have not been friendly.

Cool - lots of posts here and some new people! I gotta say one thing, I'm seeing a lot of what KraftG35 says, that others in G's aren't being very friendly! Every time I go by a G on the other side of the road and make a sign or wave, I get no response???!!! WTF is that???!!! I have to admit you're right on Kraft! I hope we don't turn into pompus's like those folks! I still wave, every time and nothing! I get more acknowledgements from 350Z owners than I do G owners!!!

Anyway, enough of that! Kraft, congrats on delivery of your coupe! You and myG35ZX will fit right in! He has one to, and nice I might add! Also cool to see HGS_G post a reply. I hope there's some more new folks as well as you all that come to some of these Chi town meets! It's loads of fun!

Car Boutique is at the corner of Golf and Roselle basically, about 1/2 block north of Golf on Roselle, the west side! Small up front but a big parking lot in the rear where the cruise night is.

Ya know Chiphead, I was complaining about that on a post on the main G35 Coupe board. But most said that in their area, most other G35 owners are pretty cool. Must be a Chicago thing - that sucks. I've waved/thumbs up several G35 Sedans with no response back - I'm not sure if they're bitter because I have a coupe, or that they just don't care. I've only seen a few coupes on the road, so far I've had somewhat good luck, got a honk and a wave from them.

I hope to make the 7/31 meet - are you guys getting there right at 6? The reason I ask is I work in Hoffman Estates so I'd go right after work, which means I'd be there right around 6. Just don't wanna be the only G35 there. Let me know. Thanks.

Good to see you can go to Car Boutique. I don't know when I'll be there but I'll get there some time. Last time I arrived around 8:30. Others were already there. So maybe someone will show up around 6:00. They do the raffle at 9:45 right before the end so it's better to go later so you can have a chance at a prize. Last time I won t-shirts and a hat. If you can, maybe you can go to Portillo's for a bite before and then head over there around 7:30-ish. Probably someone will be there by then. The cars park in the lot, pop hoods and people walk around, talk, check out cars, or go into the store, which is open. Hopefully you can hang around and stay until the raffle!
