Good to see more folks in St Louis.
mcchamps - does your not have brembo brakes? What about DYI, its pretty easy for the stuff you listed?

Really you test drove it? It had nav which drew me in, I really like it, but wish it had the G37 bells and whistles. Might trade up for a G37 next model year.
No it did not include Brembos, but I need a brake overhaul definitely. The non-Brembo/non-sport setup does not mesh well with my aggressive daily driving. Brakes are already squealing with significant fade. First thing's first the rotors need to be resurfaced, as well as new Hawk HPS that are going on the brake dust is just ridiculous. Brakes are happening next week.
Then it's on to some mods, I'm planning on 20s (Axis Pentas, stock wheels and tires have to go), 350 springs, plenum spacer, pop charger, z-tube, and eventually exhaust.
I'm coming from the STLVW.com club (owned 2 VWs previously).
Came from the 03 GTI
Here's a pic of the G when it was on the lot:
I had a few questions for you guys hopefully you can answer them?
1.) Is there any "formal" club following for 350/G owners in STL currently?
2.) Any one recommend good mechanics or shops? Wheel Shops? Performance Shops? I thought there was one on Olive.
3.) Any one go to Gateway (Midnight Madness, Tuesday test & tune, etc?).
4.) Hall Street? I am downtown, if anyone wants to meet up.
I used to go to a friend's shop for the VW, as well as had some work & dyno'd at Gateway Motorsports in Collinsville.

2- Sorry, can't recommend any good ones that I am familiar with.
3- I sometimes hit gateway's track for the PCA, BMW, and/or Ferrari events. Not really into the straight line stuff.
4- I would, but my G35 is gone as of last night!
-Good luck with the new car!

There is a performance shop called adrenaline. Heard they were pretty reputable. It's in ST. Petersburg somewhere.
