new g35 owner!

Hey everyone!

Just picked her up on labor day and am very excited! I have been wanting one ever since they came out, but now finally got the oportunity to snag one up.
This is my 1st new car I have ever owned, so I am a bit proud it is an infiniti . She's a 2006 graphite on graphite and drove off the lot with 9 miles. I went with the "basic" meaning no sunroof or blue tooth, etc... but ya know, I dont care for all that stuff and it saved me like 7grand.
Just curious on basic car care... I owned an old Porsche before and always used Lexxol and Vinylex on interior and on the exterior I would use just blue coral to wash and mothers californial gold carnuba wax. Any suggestions for my new G would be great.
Heres a crappy pic I took the night I drove it home... Kinda dark

Don't know if you can tell, but I live in Florida and purchased it from Orlando Infiniti and was very satisfied by their staff. My car had one minor problem, the cup holder cover wouldnt come back up like it was supposed to, they said someone tried to force it up and broke the spring. Well they had no staff to fix it that day, but are going to sat and fill my tank back up for me. I had no problem, because I was driving a g35 home .
Love it so far!!!

-Matt

My G was my first new car too so I totally know the feeling! Congrats and welcome to the board!

I'll leave the advice to the clean-ophiles - I'm sure they'll be here soon.

thanks everyone

Yah just about all the cars at the dealer were fully loaded, but I found 2 without sunroofs, so I guess its pretty rare.

Ended up being 34,900, but I decided to do the lease route. They had a special for 299 a mo plus tax after 3k down. I hope to finance the remainder after a year or so, so I dont have to worry about the milage restrictions.

I just bought my G35 last month and it's also the first new car I've ever owned too. Didn't know there were so many others. Welcome to the G35 family

Quickey, Should I remove that tape along the front?? Or is it supposed to be left on.
