Ahhhh Yeaaah!!!!

After a month of waiting for an inept transport company to ship my almost new new 06 coupe from Phoenix up to Canada, i went down and drove it back myself! 1600 miles from Phoenix to Calgary went by rather quick....got to learn the cars characteristics in a hurry...its so nice.

Kinda funny reading all the threads, especially the "what do you hate about your G".... been looking out for the "problems" that people have and i got the seat sqeek...kinda annoying. Also, the 1-2 shift...kinda clunky. Is it normal for the shifter to vibrate like crazy? at times over rough roads it looks like its gonna pop out of gear.

Now that i have the car i feel i can contribute to the postings...you all seem like a cool bunch of people.

Congrats, Oz.....and welcome to G35Driver....

The vibrating shifter seems normal from what I've heard.

Congrats and welcome to the boards. You must hold the record for the quickest break-in time of a new G.

With regard to the vibrating shifter, it seems that quite a few members have this issue. I normally drive with my hand on the shifter and have not noticed any unusal/additional vibration(s) in the last 22k miles.
