Just acquired my 07 G...
Got myself a journey/premium/nav/wheels in blue slate/stone. Picking it up when it drops this week. Got good service from Niello Infiniti in Concord, CA. Will post pics when I take delivery!

Thanks
It was a tough decision for me, but ultimately certain features pushed me to the Infiniti side. My current car is a TL, and I was comparing the G to the TL Type-S, which is a very good car but there were certain turn offs with the TL and two big turn ons with the G- the music box and the phonebook!
Peformance-wise the TL Type-S actually handles and grips better than a G. I find the damping rates on the G a little uncontrolled on the Journey but it's tolerable for a street car. I would have gotten the sport but I hate the seats in that car. too bad.

And I ride a sportbike... so luxury cars to me just aren't sports cars. I see this car as a GT, not a sports sedan. That's also one of the reasons I didn't get the Sport... I'd rather a luxury car have a smoother ride, but this Journey is a *little* underdamped in rebound for my tastes.
That said, the compliant ride of the Journeys to me felt like they had more tire contact over imperfect roads than the Sports that I test drove.
