New -also have pics-

Hey, bought my G a month ago and I've been looking through your forum for a while now to learn more about my car. Well the first few pictures are of a 2004 volvo s40 (same model and color as mine) and then comes my volvo s40 post-accident and then further down are pictures of my G. Hope to contribute to the forum

(No mods, seriously thinking about getting a Z-tube though)

Welcome to the forum. First thing you should learn is where to post your threads as this one is bound to be moved to the New Owners section very shortly. All part of the organizational structure... best of luck keeping to just the z-tube.

Congrats on the new G scubasteve and welcome to the forums! You're gonna love it. I thought I was gonna keep my G fairly stock and already in the first few months of ownership - I have clear corners, OEM front lip, debadged the trunk, custom exhaust and I just ordered Eibach ProKit springs...

Welcome to the Club. Nice to see another Garnet Fire G on the site.

If your on a budget, I'd highly recommend 18" Coupe rims and Z shock&Springs set up. Worth every cent.

lol your probably right i wont stop at the z tube, but i dont need to worry about any loan because with all the damages i got from the insurance for my volvo (and my broken arm) i was able to pay it full.

As for the comment on changing the front bumper, I'm not sure really where to shop, I've looked around a little but not really seen any i like, anyone have any pictures of a infiniti sedan in my color with a different front lip? I havent found one yet...

they've always been built like tanks and with the safe crumple zone and all but they transitioned in 2005 to that newer style which has less of a tendency to crumple.

it was my first car so i really missed it but once i bought the G i never looked back

Volvos are not what they used to be anymore. I actually have 1998 V70 that I love! They says its the last of the real Volvo, before Ford took over.
