Got my G sooner than expected!
This car absolutely rocks! I originally wanted to submit an order for a fully-loaded G35 6MT at the end of March. Then I decided I would wait until January 08 to order because I wanted the first year model bugs to be ironed out.
Fast forward to late April. It was on a Sunday. The weather was nice, warm, and sunny. I thought to myself, “This is a nice day to check out the G”. I dragged my brother along to the dealership. We were at the dealership right when it opened and the salesman I spoke with last time was there and I explained to him that I wanted to test drive a G. He gave me the keys to a fully-loaded G35 6MT. I was on the road and windows and sunroof were open, the sunlight was shining into the interior, and it was such a great feeling. I was so tempted to buy one that day but I had to resist because I didn’t want a car that was sitting on the lot and it was also a first-year model car.
On the way home and for the rest of the day, I thought about leasing and if I should go for it or not. Then I came up with a new game plan. I will lease for three years and by the time my lease is over, there will be a refresh. Once a refresh is out, I will buy it. Since I will be leasing, I no longer mind the fact that I am driving a first-year model car that has been sitting on the lot for while.
The next day right after work, I went straight to the dealership. The salesman was shocked because he was expecting to see me in January LOL. I was shocked and excited because I didn’t expect to be driving a G this soon. I did the paperwork and left the place right when they were closing. They had to do a locate for my car because supposedly there are only 3 G sedans in the Northeast with a 6MT and Premium Package in Ivory Pearl. This time around I wont be going for a fully-loaded G but the next G that I plan to buy will be fully-loaded
Now for the details of the car! It’s a 2007 Ivory Pearl Sport 6MT. It has the following options and accessories: Premium Package, Rear Spoiler, Splash Guards, Trunk Cargo Net, and Wheel Locks. It also has the clear bra which was added from the dealership.
This beauty is a real head-turner. Everywhere I go there are always people looking my way. My relatives and neighbors saw the car and they love how the car looks. One of my cousins drove my car and now he plan on trading in his Nissan Armada for a G. The first day I brought it to work, people were crowding around and for the rest of the week it was Show and Tell. I went to a Nissan dealership to pick up an oil filter for my 98 Maxima. The managers, salespeople, and other random people were checking out the car and asked questions. The same thing happened when I was visiting my friend at a Volvo dealership. What I hear the most is, “That’s a really nice car”.
I picked this car up two weeks ago. I wanted to post pictures and details but waited because there was a dent on the rear quarter panel of the passenger side. The sales manager called me up two hours before the scheduled delivery. Supposedly the salesman didn’t see the dent when he picked it up at another dealership because it was raining at the time. Yeah, whatever. Now that the dent is removed, I can now safely post pictures!

These shots were taken on the day I picked up the car. Another thanks to my brother for taking the pictures. First picture was at the dealership and the rest were of the drive home.

Chan, congrats on the purchase of your G. You'll be glad that you got it now instead of waiting another year.
Those pictures are awesome, and your G looks sweet! Great choice on color too. On a lot of days, I wish I would of gotten Ivory Pearl!

Thanks to all for your comments!
Brian, a fellow MA-hole! *high five*! The pictures were taken at the Chelmsford Plaza. I was at the Burlington Mall a couple weeks ago. My friend and I were there to get some food at the Cheesecake Factory.

GREAT pictures!!! Much credit to your brother for the quality of those pics. Is he a semi-pro/pro photographer?? I hope by the time your lease is up, you'll feel too attached to this beautiful thing to let it go! LOL
