2007 Graphite G35S

Hello,

Picked up a new 2007 Diamond graphite on graphite interior G35S 5AT with Prem / Nav / splash guard/ cargo net. Final selling price was $36,000 for 36 month lease total to $450 a month tax included. Put down about $4,771 (Trade-in allownence) which includes taxes, title, first month, etc and the rest went to down payment....I think this deal is OK, not great..what do you guys think?

I agree, you made an "ok" deal. So did I for about 2K less w/o the nav but with after market wood included. Like your color combo. It's what I wanted but settled for blue slate/graphite, which I now think is just great.

The car is an absolute blast to drive, even in break-in mode. Have fun!

Yes! I couldnt agree more! This car is a blast to drive! I'm still trying to break-in the motor and I'm having a hard time not passing 4K RPM...hahaha. I upgraded from a 2003 IS300 so everything is a notch up from the Lexus...or many notches up in some case lool. My first color of choice was acutally black but seeing all the swirl and water marks on the outdoor demo i opted for the graphite color knowing I will not have enough time to wash the car.

My car has a built date of 4/2007 should I bring it in and perform all the TSBs?

Thanks

The guy probably means Platinum Graphite. Diamond Graphite is NOT offered on '07 Sedans and was replaced by Platinum Graphite. PG is a bit lighter (more silver) than DG (more gray).

No TSBs after December '06 Build Date?

I haven't seen any TSBs for 07G35s built after December '06. Which is why earlier I rejected a car with a December build date. The only problem I've enountered with my G (Feb '07 build date) related to a TSB is the plastic accordian material falling out of the sunroof. It's only cosmetic, so I just threw the pieces away. They seem to make no difference at all. Went through a few pounding rain storms with no leakage.

If anyone else knows of post December '06 TSBs please post.

Oh yeah, I've accidently brought the "intelligent" key into contact with my cell phone about 50 times, but I've experienced no problems.
