Am I out of luck?
Am I out of luck?
Hello,
I leased a brand new 2007 G35S about 2 weeks ago. My lease miliage was 15000 miles a year. I'm afraid this might not be enough miliage for me and want to bump it to 18k, is it possible to re-sign a new lease contract or am i out of luck?
Thanks

the contract has already been finalized by NMAC (nissan motor acceptance corp) so there is no "re-do" but look at it this way . . .
lets say you PURCHASED the car, and in 36 months decided to trade it in (on say, a GT-R) and you had 54,000 (@18k per year) miles on it, when nada guide says it should only have 45,000 (15k per year). Your trade in would be effected by several thousand $$$, and any "negative equity" (any amount you owed that is more than the current trade in value) would be added to your next loan . . .
because you LEASED it with a penalty of say 0.19 per mile over - if you went the same extra 9000 miles, you can simply pay that $1700 and walk away, a free man, or put it on top of the loan for your next car, still a lot better senario
make you feel better?
