Hello all! I am considering ordering a 2008 G35x model and really wanted the 18" rims and other features that are said to have "late availability." What exactly is late availability? Is that like the second half of 2008? If I order the car now and it takes a few months to arrive is there a chance that it won't have the features I want because of late availability? Thanks

 

Back in July a dealer told me that if I ordered a car then it would be an '07, but if I wanted an x with the sport package, I would have to wait until August. They added that they weren't sure when it would arrive but that I shouldn't expect it until the end of the year at the earliest.

I ended up getting a G35x that was already in the States. The dealers may have more info now than they did in July.
