SWEET! Maybe it's your camera, but you have a cool purple hue to your ride.

I can attest that the blue slate's purple hue is not the camera. I have a blue slate G and that's what blue slate looks like on a slightly cloudy day. In fact the changing colors is why, in the end, I chose the blue slate over the platinum graphite.

Enjoy the G.

FWIW, three months into ownership, and I look forward to driving the car every time I approach it.

Here's some more pictures...I absolutely love this car. Like someone said above, every time I approach it, see it, or walk away from it, I have a strong, strong, strong urge to drive it. And does anyone else find themselves staring/looking longingly at their G as they walk away from it in the parking lot or at home??

Sweet G! Just picked up a BlueSlate too, looks great from every angle. Gotta say "beware dirt" you have no place on these cars

Im with you on the double takes. I have a July baby and have to look at it everytime I walk away from it. Talk about dirt. Try keeping it clean living on a 1/4 mile dirt road. Just gives me more time to spend with my new pride and joy.

I have the exact same config and my OTD price was $37,797.

The spoiler is aftermarket and was added after I'd already purchased the car.

I signed the lease papers on my blue slate/graphite aluminum G35 tonight.

You're right, I think it looks a little purple. It was overcast and a little drizzly tonight and I was trying to decide between the blue slate, Lakeshore slate, liquid platinum, ivory pearl and platinum graphite. The blue slate did look kind of purple in that light and has a hue that's hard to describe. Anyway, I think it looks dynamite with the graphite interior.
