From "A" to "G"

Hi all,

I just traded in my 01 Audi Allroad Quattro. From "A" to "G"-allroad1.jpg We spent the last 3 (fast and fun-filled) years in Germany together However, every fairy tale has a darker side... mine was the almost 3 inch stack of repair orders. German craftsmanship at it "best"
I guess that is why Audi and BMW offer the 4/50000 pay for Maintenance and Warranty coverage! That is how they lure you in!
After many evenings of surfing, reading, and researching sites and forums, I finally found what I was looking for! And 8/30/07 I became the proud owner of my very own Ivory G35S 6MT Nav, Prem, Tech, 4 wheel steering, etc... There is only one catch... I have to suffer until the end of this week because she is being trucked down from upstate New York, and I live down here near Savannah, GA. It's ok though, the dealer gave me a 08 FX 35 to drive around until my baby gets here.
On a more serious note though, I must say one thing... out of all of the forums I surfed and researched, I was most impressed with this one. The forum is well rounded and very informative. I look forward to being part of that. Thanks everyone!!!! It really helped me make my final decision (was looking at G35, IS350, and BMW)
I will post my G pics as soon as I get her... sorry everyone!

Welcome to Driver!

Try not to go too crazy waiting for your ride to arrive. When I ordered mine, before the release in October, there was a strike at the dock in Vancouver that delayed the delivery of everyone's brand new G's in Canada by about a month. I called every number I could find for the Infiniti, railway companies, the dock, and finally the dock workers association (or something like that) before they would even admit that the workers were on strike.

Nice choice, but you really should have gotten yours in Ivory Pearl, and in the sport package, and with the 6 speed. Oh wait. Nice pick brotha.

Oh, and your wagon was tizite, if the G came in a 6mt wag variant, i think i'd be all in! Enjoy your new ride when it arrives!!!

Welcome to the board and nice choice on the car. Keep a look out - there should be a meet in Atlanta in October since I think the September one has already passed.

I will miss my Allroad a lot! She was a head turner everywhere we went, immaculate inside and out. NEVERTHELESS, I know my G will be even better. Just like my Allroad, you do not see a lot of them on the road; that is what makes these cars special!

welcome to the forums

Great choice on the car. Although we do get beaten by civics all the time.

But no worries keep you head up.
