IP sport/nav/premium

Got my baby on Friday. Smiling from ear to ear! Anyone know if there are clearbra kits for the '08?

Right now there are only 2 downsides with the car: 1) currently in break-in period 2) this car makes me want to do bad things . . .

Hmmm, tough decision; chips vs discoloration. Did you have an IP with clearbra or know someone with? I wonder if it depends on the particular distributor or even the installer (e.g. car not properly prepped so film edge gets corrupted/yellows).

Nonetheless, neither scenario is gonna "slow" me down!

a good investment?

just got a custom fabricated kit put on my IP journey sport by a guy who uses the 3M film. Per him, no yellowing if surface is prepped correctly and installation done by certified individual and car is properly cleaned/waxed etc.; he warrantied his work for 5 years with the product.

the kit is invisible from the front, you can see a "line" from certain angles behind it (but again disappears as you move back). I have an extended package that wraps around and up to the grille, covers the headlights and ends halfway up the hoodline behind the "apex" (highest point of wind impact).

there is no "orange peel" effect and the kit is clean. happy so far, it is more of an investment in keeping the paint intact while i cruise NorCal highways at 80+ mph.

my lips are sealed

He does a fair amount of business in the area and gave me a decent price (he spent 9-10 hours over 2 days and redid one headlight because coverage was several millimeters short) in exchange for future referrals and to not disclose the price but forward requests to him. If you want I can post his info.
