Blue Slate 6MT in my hands!!

This is what I settled with and picked up on Sunday, 10/7
I think it's a nice deal. Plus, a very pleasant dealer experience through the Internet Sales mgr. So CA dealership.

2008 G35 Sport Sedan 6MT, Blue Slate/Graphite with the following options:
- P01 Premium
- U01 Navigation (now has backup cam integrated)
- F01 Technology
- B95 Body color splash guards
- N93 Trunk cargo net
- T93 Trunk mat
- dealer wheel locks

MSRP (sticker) incl destination - $39,175
Listed Invoice per Edmunds - $35,707
Negotiated selling price - $36,090($383 over Invoice)
Edmunds TMV - $37,916

Ready to upgrade, pics will come up soon...

Need help here. Anyone can recommend a 3M clear bra installer locally? Also, what about the optional rear spoiler installed after purchase, typical cost w/ installation? THANKS guys!

Congratulations on your new 08 G35 Sport 6MT. I'm envious. My 07 Sport 6MT is such a blast to drive. And that blue slate/ graphite combo is just so cool.

Give us some feedback on the 6MT on the 08. Lots of folks complained about the 07 Sport 6MTs because of the longish clutch and high engagement point coupled with the d-b-w accelerator. In addition the accelerator pedal hinged at the top induces a hesitation and lurch for some folks who are used to toeing the accelerator pedal at the bottom. Got to keep your foot high on the pedal and push from the top to smooth out the initial acceleration.

It also helps to push the seat back and down to get a good angle on the clutch, other wise your knee can get balky.

Have fun!

Thanks! But, it looks like the '08's clutch travel and high take-up is no different than the '07's. But I'm sort of used to it since it's similar to my tracked STi's, except much more direct on the STi. I wonder if it's possible to adjust that clutch travel, as I believe someone has done that to an earlier coupe.

Right now too busy varying speeds - surface roads, fwy, hills - 'til the 1,200 mile mark. Tough to wait!!

Hah, I missed the meet tonight. But how late do you all stay around, and in what cities usually?
