08 G35s 6mt

WOW..... I must have said that a hundred times in the last 24 hours! I picked up my 08 6MT with EVERY option yesterday...... I'm NOT going to post a picture because it looks like every other PLATINUM GRAPHITE G-35. I did add the Stillen dual intake and held off on the exhaust so I could see what it sounded like without it. I am thinking I will leave it alone.... this car is our "family" car....I have a 2005 C6 Corvette when I want to get MEAN! I tell you what....this car would give my Vette a serious run for its money from the line. I have been caeful to keep it "around" the 4500 rpm limit for the first 300 miles...... I will be driving a couple of hundred miles a day until I get this thing broken in.....I HATE BEING RESTRICTED!!!! All I can say so far that for the money...this is a WORLD CLASS CAR. My biggest complaint..... they dont give you any access to the tire pressure information.... just an idiot lite if it is low. And then you have to figure out which tire it is. Infinity was one of the first cars I had that had TP monitoring and I bought two FX 45's and a M-35 that had the graphic by wheel..... one of my FAVORITE options. I am VERY pleased that the vibration in the shifter that I experinced in the 2007 I drove is GONE. The sound system is GREAT (I am NOT a stereo nut......just give me the music) I spent more time in the past 24 hours setting up the sound system than anything else. A RECOMMENDATION....... if you get a car that has the nav and thus the hard drive etc....... DO NOT go out and buy the compact disks until you decide if you will use them. I spent $210 for a card reader and three 2GB disks only to find out that I can do EVERYTHING I want with the hard drive....... OR, if you have an IPOD...... ANYTHING you do is just duplicating what you can do by just hooking up an IPOD and leaving it connected (buy an extra one...... it's cheaper than the compact disks)

In summary....for under $40K you just cant find a better car....and we all have our little things we dont like BUT ...... WHAT AN *** KICKING CAR....... WOW

Wait until you find out how long it takes to record to the HD! Only original CDs

The HD records ANY CD...... I copied 450 songs that I loaded onto CD's from I-TUNES and put them on the HD....... gave them labels and I have 3 ways to select what plays based on the tags I assigned....... this is a GREAT feature...... just fyi.....I labeled mine R&B (oldies), country, and easy listening...... or you can just play ALL albums in order or in random sequence
