New G35 owner
New G35 owner
Hi all! I recently picked up an 07 G35 coupe this weekend. This is my first non-Honda car and I hope to learn a lot from all of you about this new platform. I'm coming from 4 cylinder FWD to this so I have a lot of research to do obviously
Anyow, that is about it. Thanks for having me!

thanks guys. yeah I plan on modding it but I have to look more into the differences between the body styles throughout the years. I guess I'll start out with the small stuff, emblems, bumper lenses, etc. I eventually want to get a TEIN suspension set up, I have always had good luck with them I used them on my Hondas and hopefully Volks. Other than that, I don't know what is out there really. Any suggestions on websites? Thanks again!
are you auto or MT?
i guess it depends if your more of a show guy or a performance guy.. of course i think it's fair to say that there's usually a balance between the two for most members on this forum...
Easy quick performance gains:
Motordyne Engineering.. http://motordyneengineering.com
they specialize in g's, and z's great extra 15 hp or so to beef up your ride..
Be sure to check out the classified section since there are always great group buys, or individual vendors that'll always get you a lower price.. have fun with your G
oh and what color is it?

it is white, MT. Right now I'm going for looks. I new to the whole v6 thing so I wanna look into it more to see where you can go beyond bolt-ons. I just want a subtle look, low, nice wheels and a few JDM pieces. I'am a little dissapointed though with the tan interior, I checked everywhere in my area for black interior on a white one but I just settled. Thanks for the link and the advice too.
congrats on the new car man. I also came from a honda and it was a big upgrade. I still have a lot of learning to do with the g35's also. Lets see some pics.

Ok, I finally brought it home today and had some quick questions. First off, the dealer did not give me an owner's manual (it was a used car). The word 'REV' is on the center gauge. What is it and can it be turned on/off? Second, there is an icon lit up on the far left gauge of an '!' surrounded by almost a full circle. I'd imagine that is bad. Lastly, driving it home, I was getting bad vibration fromt he pedals and the shifter. I know it is not the brake rotors it felt diff. In your opinion, does driving a RWD car feel diff. from driving a FWD? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
