Brand new owner

Just got my 2008 G35x, this past Friday. Moved up from the '04 I35, which has been passed on to my son. Technically, not an owner, as I am leasing, for the first time ever.

Car is the blue slate color, no nav package, no premium package, but includes sunroof. Could not reach the monthly price I was looking to pay to buy the car, so decided to lease. In hindsight, I should have gotten a lease price for one that did have the premium package for enhanced audio system.

Picked it up Friday afternoon, in the middle of a snow storm, so got to test the AWD right away, and it was great. Didn't like the fact that it got dirty as soon as I got it, but what are you going to do, its winter in New England!

Congrats and welcome to the 'Driver boards, joeinma. Enjoy your new G and be careful out there in the snow.

Thanks Andy! Yesterday was the first real big storm here in Boston area...the inch or so last week when I got the car was nothing compared to this. Highways jammed, side roads snow covered, 10 inches plus fell. Yet the car handled like a dream...no slippage at all. Now if it wasn't for all the other drivers in their RWD cars or beater cars with bald tires, it would have made it a fun experience, not an hour and half ride to go about 10 miles!
