New to the Infiniti owner circle... already love the machine.

2008 G35S, 6MT
Blue Slate + Graphite
Premium, Technology, Navigation Pkgs
Splash Guards + Other random crap

What a great car.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning more... so I'm off to read some posts.

You bought a winner. Congrats on the 6MT and in the right color, too. What car are you coming from?

The 6MT is just a blast. Bet you can't wait 'til you're past break-in. Unless you don't but any of that break-in stuff. It does require real restraint.

Honestly, I have a little stable of vehicles - the wife drives an '06 Hemi Grand Cherokee, I've been driving an '04.5 CTD 4Dr Dodge Ram Dually 4x4 for the last 4 years, so that's what I'm coming out of driving everyday... still have the truck, as it's the tow rig for the real toy, which is a very large rockcrawler Jeep that requires a trailer to get around the country.

When I bought the Truck 4 years ago, I had every intention of buying a 'Vette for daily fun... then I met a girl, then I bought a diamond, then I needed a house, and then I had a child... so, I've been waiting a long time to have something fun to drive! The 'Vette turned into a 4-door, and the G35 blew everything out of the water in terms of price, finish and performance. I have 300 miles on mine and I'm quite happy.

As for break-in, I'm pretty sure my business partner took care of that at mile 42... I said "jump in, give it a whirl"... and he hammered it for 15 minutes while I shook nervously in the passenger seat!

Enjoy your new G, you're going to love that car

I also had a rockcrawler CJ, a 75 w/ a 401V8, Dana 44s w/ rear locker and a Ford T18 granny 4 speed. I miss it but not the 8-10Mpg, lol.
