I find it odd that I haven't seen any 08 G35x on the road in ny but more 08 M35-45. Just out of curiosity, how many ppl on here or know someone in nyc that has the 08 G35xs? I am picking mine up on friday(blk/blk).

I think I got an ok deal on it, I look at it like this. The invoice on an 08 g35x (base) is 32k msrp 34.5k. There is 7k in options (premium, navi, sport, tech) so it is like I paid invoice for the car alone but i paid full price for the options. They didn't throw in tints though =/.

Saw my first 08 G35x S today on the way in to work. Not NY, but it was interesting to see one.

For those of you considering a new G35, try Pepe Infiniti in White Plains, NY. When I did my "shopping" in March, I shopped 4 dealers. All had different deals : Greenwich Infiniti, Massapequa Infiniti, Manhasset Infiniti, Infiniti of Manhattan & Pepe Infiniti. Touch base via the Internet, at Pepe ask for Christine Vaughn, she was attentive, reposnsive and made a great deal for me. 2007 G35X Premium package, no Navi ( I feel that at $60/Mo. on a lease, it wasn't worth it), I paid only the taxes & 1st month & bank fee out the door. To be honest, I thought Manhasset Infiniti was like dealing with "carpet traders' in the Middle East. They haad the highest prices & gave me poor attention. I've purchased or leased many cars, driving for over 35 years.....DOMO

You need to Shop, there WERE differences at each dealer.

Is the increase in demand due to supply effecting negotiated price? In other words, are invoice deals available.

G35x S's are in limited supply obviously b/c of first allocations... especially if you want a certain color like Ivory Pearl which is non existent. It 's hard to keep all the color combos and packages in stock -- so many choices and sometimes clients aren't willing (like me) that I want an exact color combo or i'll just wait

As a Brooklynite, I wanted to buy my G in NYC but was put off by both Kings Infiniti in Bklyn and Manhattan Infiniti in the city because they seemed not to want to deal, more of a "take our invoice price or leave it" attitude. Only Competition Infiniti in Smithtown, LI seemed to want to deal at all. They also offered to pick up and drop off a loaner during repairs.

In the end I bought from Douglas Infiniti in Summit, NJ. Ray Catena in Bridgetown, NJ seemed to want to deal, too. But not at first. Only after I had a price from Douglas Infiniti did Catena want to deal. They offered $200 below what I got from Douglas. Not enough to make a difference. And given how easy was Douglas was to deal with, almost a pleasant experience, I stuck with them. Thyey gave me a test car for an entire long weekend, over Memorial Day. They also agreed to aftermarket wood at no charge as they had committed to the wood in the original deal, not realizing the Sport model was unavailable with wood from factory. In all, Douglas was honest and stuck to their deal.

Paid $ 37,774 (including tax) for an 07 S6MT with premium, XM, splash guards, aftermarket wood, clear bra and tire and wheel package.

I think NJ has the better deals than NYC or Westchester. Just my opinion

You just brought an 07 for that price. I got mine with prem, nav, mudflaps and spoiler, I purchased mine in feb of 07 for less than that from Manhattan. I agree at first they might not budge, but if they see you really are interested in getting the car off their lot, they will work with you.

No, bought mine in June 07. Wanted a specific color combo without the nav but with premium, so they had to ship one up from Virginia. You must have gotten a super deal if less than what I paid (including tax) with nav. I suppose they had one on the lot, as you imply above.

Am dealing with Manhattan Infiniti now and have been satisfied with their service (1st two oil changes and the 028 (ICC surge) and seals on doors TSBs.

But just brought car there on Friday for the Slave Cylinder clutch TSB and they have taken 3 days to make the repair so far. They now promise it on Tuesday.

What's been your experience with Manhattan Infiniti or do you use another shop?
