Debadged 'neverything. Cool dude with the sports package. Is it a 6MT or an XS?

Welcome go the tribe. I'm a Passat VR6 convert myself.

The slave cylinder replacement does make a difference in a more forgiving engagement point and somewhat less stiff feel. Though some, not many, report they miss the precise, stiff and somewhat high engagement point and say they feel the car is slower. Not so, I think because the shifter is quick and short, a bit "notchy" some say. And those 306 horses are all still there.

I did find the G35 clutch required some getting used to, but all new clutches do. Each car manufacturer's clutch is different, some long, some short, some stiff, some rubbery with varying engagement points.

I did find that with the G's high engagement point, I needed to set the seat farther back than I did in my Passat because the G's clutch is not only long but somewhat straight ahead instead of shorter and more directly below the knee.

What's your adjustment to the clutch been like?

got it back yesterday. after a day of driving I notice that the engagement point is not as high as it use to be and the clutch is stiffer than before. There is a little more room to work with at the engagement point but not much of a difference imo. Overall i'm satisfied with the results.

funny thing tho, the loaner 5AT felt a little quicker off the line. maybe it was just me abusing the loaner instead of babying my G. =)
